Focolare Movement - Midwest The Focolare Movement, WORK OF MARY, is an ecclesial movement born in the Catholic Church in 1943. Members strive be a presence of unity and love.

It works to build unity and universal brotherhood on all fronts: within the family, in the neighborhood, in professional worlds, among Christians, with those of other religions and to work for peace with those of no religious convictions.
