We’ve spent many courses diving into who God is, but we don’t want to stop at knowledge. We will be applying these truths into identity in Christ, life purpose, values, daily priorities, goal-setting, the stewardship of time, and the kind of legacy that will still matter in eternity. This Sunday we continue our series Last Words for the Next Generation (2 Timothy) and look at the keys to building a resilience in Christ that not only survives the storms, but thrives through them.

Life is filled with joy, but it can also be hard. The key to the abundant Christian life is not learning to dodge every hit life throws at us, but developing the resilience to bounce back when the setbacks come. Join us at MBC!

Our annual church picnic is set for August 9th after service! As we’ve been learning about the importance of being at the Table with each other, this is an event to put into practice fellowship over a meal. NEW SERMON SERIES: “The Table” starting this Sunday! — God has always been a God who sets a table. From the Tabernacle to the Lord’s Supper to the coming Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Bible reveals His desire for intimate fellowship with us and among us. In this four-week summer series, we’ll discover how the gospel restores our seat at the King’s Table, builds real Christian community in a digital age, strengthens our family tables, and compels us to welcome others with the same grace we’ve received.

MBC’s School of Christian Theological Studies has a new upcoming class: Theology Proper: Embracing the Fullness of God. Join us for a 3-week course taking place the first three Wednesdays in May from 7-8pm that will explore the biblical doctrine of the Trinity—its foundation in Scripture, development in church history, and relevance for our lives today.

In this series starting Sunday, Man on the Run, we walk through the book of Jonah to explore what it means to hear God’s call and fulfill it—even when it’s uncomfortable, unexpected, or downright hard.

THIS SUNDAY we will begin a powerful 5-week mini series: The Road to Resurrection Life. As we continue and get to the end of Luke, we’ll walk through the empty tomb, the encounter with Jesus on the road to Emmaus, the risen Jesus’ appearances, and His ascension—leading us right into Easter with a finale message on what resurrection life means for us today. Invite friends and family! If loved ones come this Sunday leading into Easter Sunday, they will hear the fullness of the gospel message and how the resurrection changes everything.
