Yesterday was one for the books! ❤️🎉

On Unity Sunday, we celebrated two years since God brought Mount Ridge and St. James Unity together as one church family. What a blessing it has been to witness His faithfulness, favor, and guidance throughout this journey.

We also celebrated Pastor Simpson’s birthday and honored First Lady Deborah Simpson on her graduation.

A special thank you to Pastor Harvey Clemons, Pastor Simpson’s longtime friend and prayer partner, for helping us celebrate this special day and for delivering a powerful Word that encouraged and challenged us.

From worship to fellowship at brunch, the entire day was filled with joy, gratitude, laughter, and love. We thank God for where He has brought us and look forward with anticipation to all that is still to come ❤️

POV: You think you’re coming to church like any other Sunday but then your longtime friend walks in to surprise you and preach. 😂 yeah we got him good!!

Today we celebrated Pastor Simpson’s birthday with a special surprise from Pastor Harvey Clemons, and the reaction was priceless.

If your phone lets you know when it’s in low power mode, why do we ignore the signs when we’re running low?

Some of us are operating on 5% physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, yet we’re still trying to function like we’re fully charged.

Those warning signs aren’t there to shame you but rather a reminder that it’s time to reconnect to the Source.

You weren’t designed to live depleted. Rest isn’t weakness. Time with God isn’t optional maintenance, it’s the source that keeps us going.

Don’t ignore the signal. Recharge. 🔋

As we wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re celebrating the fact that no two paintings looked exactly alike and that’s what made the day so special. Everyone brought their own creativity, personality, and perspective to the canvas.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Peace of Mind: Sip & Paint. The paintings may have gone in different directions, but the goal was the same and that was to take a moment to pause, connect, create, and care for yourself💚✨
