Kingdom Family, we are saddened to share the news of the passing of Elder Frank Moore. He was a true friend of Kingdom who shared his incredible gift of preaching with us on several occasions. Please keep his family and all who loved him in your prayers.

The Homegoing Celebration will be Thursday, July 23 @ 4 PM, with the Wake beginning @ 3 PM. It will take place at the House of Hope located at 752 E. 114th St.

Pastor Tim Smith, previously called to serve as Assistant Pastor at Kingdom, will now take the lead as Interim Pastor providing stability through this time of transition. As he leads this next season of ministry, may God provide wisdom and guidance.

For years, both Pastor Tim and Minister Valonda have faithfully served at Kingdom and they truly have a heart for the congregation and the community. Let's keep them in prayer.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..." - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Pastor David delivered his final sermon as Senior Pastor of Kingdom this past Sunday with a sermon entitled, "As I Come to a Close," based on Acts 20:25-32 where the Apostle Paul gives his final farewell to the church in Ephesus.

It was a powerful culminating message concluding with Pastor David fittingly commending Kingdom to God.

It was a joy to see friends of Kingdom and members old and new. Rev. Anthony Thomas, Director of Clergy and Congregational Care for the Central Conference, shared words of encouragement and prayed a mighty fervent prayer for Pastors David and Vernée and the Kingdom family. Thank you all for your support during this pivotal time.

Pastor David, with much gratitude we thank you for saying "yes" to God's call to plant a church and for being so committed to shepherding the Lord's sheep.

Looking back over the past 12 years Kingdom has accomplished much by God's grace under your incredible leadership. We praise God for every life changed through the ministry you provided, for every prayer prayed, for every spiritual gift used, for every burden carried to keep Kingdom moving forward, for persevering and having the faith to trust God during difficult moments, for every sacrifice, every act of service and everything poured out. We love you and we are grateful.

As you begin your sabbatical and seek God for what's next, may it be filled with well-deserved rest, divine healing, renewed strength, supernatural provision, peace that passes understanding, and joy unspeakable.

Kingdom family, we may now be in the midst of a new season, but the mission remains the same - to evangelize, equip and empower people for the Kingdom of God. As we transition, with great determination we will carry out the mission giving God the glory every step of the way. The best is yet to come!!!! 🤎🙏🏾🙌🏾
