Peace & love, Liberty Family!

GOD has already placed something valuable within your reach! Stop focusing on what you lack & start using what you have.

In Exodus 4:2, GOD asked Moses, “What is that in thine hand?”

Your gifts, experiences, resources & testimony can make a difference when surrendered to GOD.

The question is not what you are missing, but what are you doing with what GOD has already given you?

This week, I challenge you to use what’s in your hand to bless someone else!

Remember, THE NEW YOU HAS AN ASSIGNMENT!

Today, Liberty Temple Chicago lovingly remembers and celebrates the extraordinary life of our beloved Founder, the late Chief Apostle Dr. Clifford E. Turner, Sr.!

A visionary, trailblazer, spiritual father, and mighty General in GOD’s Kingdom, his influence extended far beyond the pulpit, reaching communities, cities, and nations. From national television appearances, including CNN, to humanitarian recognition and invitations to the White House, his accomplishments reflected a lifetime of extraordinary leadership and service. Yet, his greatest achievements were the countless souls reached for Christ, lives transformed, leaders developed, and generations empowered through his unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of GOD!

Alongside his beautiful wife, the late Pastor Denise M. Turner, they faithfully poured their lives, prayers, sacrifices, wisdom and love into establishing a spiritual foundation that continues to stand strong. Though they are no longer physically with us, their legacy lives on through their children, who are now RUNNING WITH THE BATON!

As Psalm 145:4 declares, “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.” Their labor was not in vain, their seeds are still producing fruit and the vision they established continues to flourish!

On what would have been his 76th birthday, we pause to honor this remarkable man whose faith, courage, sacrifice, and obedience helped shape the ministry we are today.

LIBERTY TEMPLE IS STILL IN GOOD HANDS! THE VISION IS STILL ALIVE! THE FOUNDATION IS STILL STRONG! THE LEGACY LIVES ON! AND LIBERTY IS STILL TAKING THE CITY FOR JESUS!!!

Scripture of the day *Luke 4:4*

If you found yourself feeling discouraged, frustrated, or struggling on this first day of our fast, DON’T GIVE UP! Remember, this journey is not about perfection but spiritual progression. If you stumbled today, get back up, refocus, and begin again! Don’t allow one difficult moment to defeat your commitment to GOD.

Fasting is more than changing what we eat; it’s about transforming how we live, think, and prioritize GOD. Take it one day at a time, remain prayerful, and keep feeding your spirit with His Word.

You may have to start over, but NEVER, EVER GIVE UP! We’re not just drawing closer to GOD for 21 days; we’re developing the discipline to STAY closer to Him for a lifetime!

Stay encouraged. Stay committed. STAY LOCKED IN!

THE LOCK-IN FAST | DAY 1/ 21
October 12, 2026
Theme: Living by GOD’s Word

Good morning, Liberty Family!

Today, we officially begin our 21-day Lock-In journey with GOD! Our goal is not simply to draw closer to GOD, but to develop the spiritual discipline to STAY CLOSE TO HIM!

The Daniel Fast, inspired by Daniel 1 and Daniel 10, is a season of consecration, sacrifice and spiritual renewal. We’re setting aside certain foods and unnecessary distractions to strengthen our relationship with GOD.

Liberty, whatever we prioritize receives our time, attention and energy. Therefore, during these 21 days, let’s make reading our Bibles, studying GOD’s Word, and praying our greatest daily priorities and no longer something we squeeze into our schedules after everything else is done.

Luke 4:4 says “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of GOD.”

IMPORTANT HEALTH REMINDER: Everyone taking prescribed medication or managing a medical condition should consult their physician before changing their diet. Please continue taking all medications as prescribed, without changing the dosage or schedule. Follow your doctor’s dietary instructions, even if they differ from our fasting guidelines. Your health comes first!

Let’s make these 21 days & beyond count, Liberty Family! We’re not just developing a temporary habit; we’re establishing a greater lasting lifestyle of prayer, obedience and intimacy with GOD.

LESS DISTRACTION. MORE DEVOTION. GREATER FOCUS. CLOSER TO GOD!

LET’S LOCK IN! AMEN.
