Cornerstone Anglican Church - Edgewater is a congregation that meets at Park View Rehab Center (www.parkviewrc.com) every Sunday afternoon for worship and community. We seek to love, proclaim the Gospel of Christ to and release the gifts of the Holy Spirit in all people at Park View. We hope to see all people in our congregation transformed by the love of Christ and released to do the work of his
church. We are visibly broken: mentally ill, physically ailing, near death, recovering addicts, wheelchair-ridden, weak, elderly, and isolated. We are wholly redeemed: In our weakness and vulnerability, we have been found and remembered by a great redeemer. Through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension we have been made whole. We are hopefully expectant: Our pilgrimage through this world is at times painful and exhausting, but we cling desperately to our only hope--the life everlasting that we find in Jesus. It is with this hope, we gather together to receive from the Lord through word and sacrament. We meet as a community of faith to worship our Savior Jesus Christ, who calls out to us even now, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
