Rockford BACH Chamber Choir Chicago Bach Chamber Choir Current Auditions for the 2015 - 2016 season: by appointment with the Artisitic Director, Ronald Weber. All auditions are private.

Auditions for the choir are held throughout the year. The procedure will be to check the singer’s range, vocal quality, vocal control and general musicianship. No prepared material is required, but you may bring a piece of music to sing if you so desire. Auditions are normally held on Sunday evenings at the rehearsal site.(Currently Holy Family Roman Catholic Parish -

Highcrest & Alpine Roads - Rockford). Sunday evenings are the choir’s normal rehearsal night and the auditions will be held prior to rehearsal (from 4:00-4:30 PM) Anyone who auditions is welcome to sit through the rehearsal to get a “feel” for the director and the group. If a person who auditions is accepted, the singer will be able to join the choir for the next concert for which he or she will be able to attend at least seven rehearsals (or as determined by the director).

Auditions for 2018 -2019 Season [3 concerts]
Rehearsals on Monday evenings 7:30pm - 9pm
Auditions being held September 10th.
Choir is non paid but additional performances will offer a small stipend.

Seeking Professional and semi professional voices with focus on blend and balance.

Concert dates, rehearsal schedule, and overview of music will be shared at audition.
Choir has a 38 year history of providing music by pre-baroque to 21st century composers. Positions in all voice parts available. [SATB] counter tenors welcome for alto positions.
