Are you looking for a unique leadership opportunity? Have you been yearning to put your talent in strategic thinking, financial forecasting, resource development, or project management, in the service of a great cause?

Urban CPE Consortium, Inc. is looking for leaders like you to join our board of directors. For 25 years, our volunteer board has been the strategic heart of our organization, ensuring that in our work to form persons for ministry, and advocate for social justice issues, we respond to the needs of our community and always deliver the highest ethical standards in providing pastoral care to “the least of these.”

If you are one or more of the following, we would like to invite you to apply to be a board member:

• Energetic and entrepreneurial business person, who is eager to apply their enthusiasm to organizational growth and change.

• Members of the legal profession with expertise in governance, compliance, and/or ethics.

• Community leaders and philanthropists willing to engage their peers.

• Leaders at ministry sites, member organizations, and/or theological education institutions and seminaries who are interested in building strong programs with us.

• Health and spiritual care, or counseling professionals – chaplains, CPE educators, doctors, nurses, public health, health associations, social workers, counselors, etc.

• Scholars/academics who want to put their expertise in social justice and/or spiritual care, children, youth, elders, and families to work in the community.

• Those who have a demonstrated talent, joy, and energy in chairing successful fundraising events and campaigns.

If you are social justice oriented, compassionate, and concerned about the “least of these” then Urban CPE Consortium, Inc. (UCPEC) is looking for YOU! We are seeking an ACPE Certified Principal Educator to start in May, 2021. The principal educator will be responsible for providing training and education to CPE students in accordance with ACPE accreditation standards. UCPEC, located in the City of Chicago, offers a unique opportunity to supervise students in a non-traditional, non-hospital setting often within social service agencies within the metropolitan area.
UCPEC Principal Educator QUALIFICATIONS:
• ACPE Certified Educator or Certified Associate Educator
• Competence in providing supervision and pastoral training to students
• Knowledgeable of ACPE standards, requirements for the Educator and the accreditation process
