Bethany Baptist Church has been a "southside" fixture in the McKinley Park neighborhood for over 100 years. Throughout it's existence, Bethany has chosen to teach, preach and believe the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It's members and attendees are by no means perfect people. They just have experienced forgiveness from God and possess a hope that comes through Christ.

We’re excited for the next season of Awana to start next week. Dave is leading the training and has served in Awana at Bethany for about 25 years. (Btw, he went to awana as a kid in another church). Miss Sandy has his years of service beat by about 30 years. And that’s only mentioning two of our leaders. Others in the photo have never seen Awana but want to serve. Thank you, God, for your faithful servants!
