What a blessed evening at St. Martin’s! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for Blues in the Sanctuary—it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we filled the sanctuary, we knew we were in for a Holy Ghost good time.

We especially want to thank Noreen, Starks, and the West Side All Stars—you all were excellent, and you helped make this one of the best blues events we’ve had in a long time.

We had so much fun—we fellowshiped, we danced, and we laughed together. The music was good, the food was good, the beverages were good, and the silent auction and raffle were both great. Most of all, we’re grateful for the fellowship and the spirit in the room.

We look forward to our next gathering: Jazz in the Sanctuary on October 17, 2026—we hope to see you there.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first three Sundays of our Black History Celebration at St. Martin’s Chicago. Your presence, fellowship, and support have made this month truly meaningful.

Join us this Sunday, February 22, 2026, for our Grand Finale & Fundraiser as we continue to Lift Every Voice for the Unsung Heroes.

Greetings from St. Martin’s!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Feb. 8 for our Black History Celebration. The program included a beautiful dedication honoring Arthur Mitchell, Founder of Dance Theater of Harlem, which featured an artistic ballet presentation by Russell Talbert and Olivia Jean‑Baptiste. We invite you to join us again on Sunday, Feb. 15.
Holy Eucharist Service begins around 10‑ish a.m., featuring inspiring preaching, warm fellowship, and a delicious meal.

Our Black History Program, Erasure of African History: Past and Present, with the theme Lift Every Voice for the Unsung Heroes, will begin
around 1:00 p.m.

There will be no fundraiser that day.
Unsung Hero Meals are $25 and may be ordered now for our fundraiser.

Our Fundraiser & Finale will take place on Sunday, Feb. 22, featuring Hidden Messages in Negro Spirituals on the Underground Railroad.
We look forward to worship and celebration with you!
