If you are planning on coming to Shabbat morning services, please email the office letting us know that you will be attending and send a copy of your vaccination card (including booster) so that we will be ready to check you in quickly and efficiently. We want to make sure that the community is safe and stays healthy!

PLEASE NOTE

Updated Covid Protocol from our Board

The Board of Lake Shore Synagogue is adopting the following policy related to COVID vaccination:

1. All individuals age 10 years and older must be up to date with vaccination. This includes a complete initial vaccination series and a booster when due (currently 6 months after the initial series). All members should mail in a copy of their COVID vaccination record, including booster doses, to be kept on file.

If individuals qualify for a medical exemption they must provide a letter from a licensed physician stating they are exempt.

2. Members are required to attest to being appropriately vaccinated but will not be required to show proof upon arrival to the synagogue. However, guests will continue to be required to show proof either before attending or upon arrival and this policy, currently in place, will be prominently mentioned on our website.

3. Any individual who tests positive for COVID MUST alert the synagogue so proper contact tracing can be performed.

Please bear in mind that the synagogue strives to protect everyone to a reasonable degree and to provide a comfortable and worry free environment in which to pray. This policy, as well as other COVID related policies is subject to change as circumstances dictate.
