This week, we lift up All Saints Camp and Youth, Bellwether Farm, Camp Henry & Lake Logan , Chapel Rock Camp and Conference Center, Honey Creek, St. Gabriel’s Camp, and Thunderhead Episcopal Center - TEC in our summer camp cycle of prayer 🙏🏕️

Our Father,

We are gathered as campers and staff to spend our days among each other and your magnificent creation.
Bless our hands and feet as we scramble around during game time, take risks during ropes course, and create arts and crafts. Bless our mouths as we shout camp songs, pray camp prayers, and eat camp food. Bless our ears as we listen to the life that surrounds us at camp - from the buzzing of bees to the shrieks of people playing in the water. Bless our words that they may always be filled with kindness and wisdom as we ask our questions and tell our stories. Bless our eyes that we might see you in each other and in the world around us. And finally, bless our minds as we try to fully take in this wondrous week.

Keep us, our camp, and our communities safe as we journey together this week. And may we be closer to each other and to you at the end of it.

Together we pray,
Amen

Happy Pride Month!

Here at ECCC, we believe that everyone should be able to be fully themselves at retreats, conferences, camps, and outdoor schools. We want everyone to be fully welcomed, fully included, and fully seen at our centers. We stand with our trans siblings as they face increased discriminatory attacks in their daily lives and are working to assist centers in the creation of LGBTQ+ affirming policies and programs.

We also, as a Christian organization, believe in a loving God who does not hate anyone based on who they are, who they love, or how they live their life. If you are interested in the Episcopal Church’s stance on LGBTQ+ issues, please check out http://www.episcopalchurch.org/organizations.../lgbtq/
Have a safe and happy Pride month! You are beloved! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🎊

This week, we lift up Camp Beckwith, City Camp, Camp Mikell, Camp Bratton-Green & the Gray Center, Episcopal Diocese of Kansas Youth Ministry Mega Camp, St. Dorothy's Episcopal Camp & Retreat, and St. Crispin's Summer Camp in our summer camp cycle of prayer 🏕️🙏

Dear God,
Thank you for this world. We are blessed that our call to your mission puts us in the midst of it every day. It’s grounding and beautiful. Let us never lose sight of how precious it is and to steward our little pieces gently and intentionally into the future. Help us to remember that we were made just as precious as the world around us and be just as gentle with ourselves and each other.
Amen

Pray with us in honor of Memorial Day:

O God of life, you are older than time. You have seen generations who have died through sacrifice, war, courage and folly. You have comforted generations who mourned and grieved and sang solemn songs and laid flowers on graves. Gather us in your embrace and cradle us with your compassion. As we remember those who have died in past wars and conflicts, help us to remember that you were there when the mountains were formed. You were there to soothe our grief and breathe hope into the hopeless. You are with us still. We give you thanks for life in Jesus and pray that your lives may be reflections of his love. Amen.

This week, we lift up All Saints Episcopal Center, Camp Hardtner, Camp McDowell, The Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna Youth, Grace Point Camp & Retreat Center, Gravatt Camp and Conference Center, and Mustang Island Conference Center in our summer camp cycle of prayer 🙏🏕️

Gracious God, we give You thanks and praise for the beauty of creation. We give You thanks for the camps and conference centers we cherish, where we grow in our love for You and one another.

We give thanks for your servants, our dedicated camp directors, creative staff, and energetic campers. All contribute to our centers in so many ways.

We ask for safety and good health for all as we celebrate and honor the impact our centers have on the world and the ripples of love that emanate from them.

Amen.
