WORSHIP WEDNESDAY | June 10th , 2025

As we go through this week, may we continually surrender our own ambitions, desires, and plans to the Lord. God is not simply calling us to do more for Him, but to become people whose hearts reflect His. May we seek Him daily, allowing Him to shape us into men and women who love what He loves and desire what He desires. As we draw closer to Him, may our hearts become more like His.

David's story reminds us that when we begin to believe that God's provision and plan are not enough, our hearts can easily drift toward things that lead us away from Him. Yet David's story is also a reminder of God's incredible grace.
As we step into this week, may Jesus remain at the center of our lives. May we be quick to turn from sin and quick to turn back to Him. Though David and Bathsheba's story carried painful consequences, God's mercy was not absent. David found grace when he humbled himself in repentance.

Sometimes God doesn’t reveal the whole picture before He asks us to take a step. He simply asks for our yes. Obedience to God isn’t always about having every answer or feeling fully ready, it’s about trusting the One who is leading us. A simple yes to God can become part of a much bigger story He is writing. So if God is calling you toward something today, don’t underestimate the power of faithfulness.

As we continue our journey through the Bible, we were encouraged by the lives of Joshua and Caleb this past Sunday. Their faithfulness, courage, and passion for God are deeply inspiring. May we also be encouraged to walk faithfully with Him, trusting His promises every step of the way. No turning back!

Awaken celebrated its 5th anniversary this past Sunday!
So grateful for five years of worshiping, praising, and growing together as a community. We sang this song as a reminder that Jesus is the center of our church and our lives, and we will always choose to stand on God’s side.
Praying that we continue to grow deeper in our love for God and for one another. Happy Wednesday!

Even in the wilderness, we are not alone. When everything feels uncertain, when the path isn’t clear, God is still with us. And it’s in those very places that our confidence begins to grow. Not in what we see, but in the promises He has already spoken.

Our God is our deliverer! The one we can truly count on.
Our ancestors trusted Him, and He was faithful then.
And He is still faithful now.
He has proven, time and time again, that He is trustworthy.
So today, may we put our trust fully in Him.

No matter what situation you’re in, we can trust that there is no comparison to how good our God is. So let’s hold on to that truth and anchor ourselves in His unchanging character!
