Our God: Yu
Yu is a metaphor for “you”. In most religions we humans are made in the image or reflection of that god. If that is the case this would mean that we are all representations of your god on this earth.
Our belief system
Truism is a religion that believes every person has a right to be the best person they can be not only to others but one’s self. We believe no one has a right to stop you from achieving this happiness just as you have no right to stop someone from doing the same.
We believe in self-respect and respect for all living things. We believe in equality across all nationalities, s*x & s*xual preference / orientation.
We believe in but are not limited to these statements.
You should not kill
You should not steal
You should not lie
You should not deceive
Honor your family
Be kind to one another
Medicine and health
When it comes to your body we believe you have the power to decide what is best for you and your overall health. Your life is in your hands or anyone you give that right to. When it comes to children we hope since you are aligned with our belief system that you will make the right choice to allow that child the best chance of survival to make it to adulthood so they can start to make those choices for themselves.
Other religions
We have no il will towards any other religion that is for the betterment of all man and promotes positivity. You are allowed to follow and practice any religion alongside Truism. The only thing you are not allowed to do when it comes to other religions is partake in anything that goes against the Truism belief system. When or if that time comes you must disengage with said religion or leave Truism. The moment you engage in anything against our belief system in the name of another religion you are immediately and automatically banned from Truism.
We do not see people of other religions as a threat. They are practicing their right to choose whatever religion they like and we agree with that. We never want to push our religion on anyone. We want people to gravitate to us because we want them to choose Truism as their belief system.
Heaven and Hell
There is no Heaven and Hell in Truism. We believe in that the choices you make in life create your own private heaven and hell. You are responsible for their creations. Now if you choose to believe in those places because you are practicing another religion long side Truism then that is completely up to you.
Church and Practicing Truism
Our church is within you. There is no one specific church. You practice Truism every day you are living. Every choice you make either gets you closer to Truism or further away from it. You can choose to be positive. You can choose to help people. You can choose to do the right thing even when no one is looking.
We will have a monthly online sessions to give inspiration and guidance should our practitioners need it
Penance for doing wrong
There is no hell we are sending you to. Truism is about looking inward instead of outward to deflect blame. No one is perfect and we will all make mistakes. What we ask is anytime something negative happens you look inward to ask yourself “did I do my best?”, “what did I do wrong?” or “how could I have handled that better?”. We are all about positive growth within one’s self. We believe one bad action does not make a person bad or evil but we do also encourage you to take responsibility and do everything you can to not make the same mistakes over and over. A mistake is a bad decision. Every other bad decision after that is a choice not a mistake. Once you make the same bad choices over and over, you are the furthest from Truism than you will ever be.
S*x
S*x is not evil in Truism. As long as it is between consenting adults and there is no falsehood about it that results in mental or physical harm.
Real world application of Truism
We realize there are people that may try to use this religion to push an agenda or use it as a call to action that will end up with negative results. For those people, we want you to know that you can’t pick apart these statements or beliefs to bend them to your necessity to do bad things or create negativity in the world. Truism is about positivity and all about people being the good to one another. It is about people being responsible for themselves and their children (until they are adults). We create better lives for ourselves, our family and then the people / world around us. It’s about doing the right thing even if everyone else is not.
Politics & Laws
Truism will always align itself to any law enforcement that holds true to the same values that are in our belief system. We do not encourage anyone to go against the law or government. There may be times when our belief systems do not align and when those times come we do not encourage violence at all. We expect our practitioners to do what is best for you and your family in a safe and constructive manner.
Heirarchy
As of now there is only one creator and organizer of Truism. This information will be disclosed when needed. This may change as we grow.
In closing
This is a new religion and is still forming. The above its foundation / belief system core that will not change. We are sure there are life experiences that will arise that may add more or create minor changes to this belief system.
Be good to yourself, your loved ones and everyone else around you. A better world starts with you and the people around you.
