Reflection: Do not hesitate
John 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger here, and see my hands; and reach out your hand, and put it in my side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.
Inspiration
Many times people put themselves in the situation like Thomas in their lives, doubting that Jesus rose from the dead to give them eternal life, in case you have to see to believe, Jesus himself had to give Thomas a confrontation with his life, in front of his life, and tell him, take it, come and put your finger on me and put your hand on my side, I am JESUS who died and rose from within the dead and this in front of you, do not hesitate, but the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus; how many people doubt this wonderful existence that Jesus Christ died for our sins, to give us a spiritual life since we were spiritually dead in our crimes of sins in eternal damnation, and through Jesus we obtain freedom and salvation, today we must be grateful for this unconditional love that our lord and savior Jesus of our souls gives us so that we can achieve his grace before the men of the earth; today we can say thank you Jesus for loving us so much and fighting all my life and battles,
That one day out of seven should be religiously observed, was an appointment from the beginning. And that, in the kingdom of the Messiah, the first day of the week must be that solemn day, it was pointed out, in which Christ on that day again and again met his disciples in a religious assembly. The religious observance of that day has come down to us through all the ages of the church. There is not a word of unbelief on our tongues, nor thought in our minds, but it is known that the Lord Jesus; and he was delighted to accommodate himself, even Thomas, instead of leaving him to disbelief at him. We must therefore find the weak, Ro 15:1,2. “So we who are strong must bear the infirmities of the weak, and not please ourselves. Each one of us pleases his neighbor in what is good, for edification.”
Romans 15:1-2 This warning is given to all. If we are unfaithful, we are without Christ and without grace, without hope and without joy. Thomas was ashamed of his disbelief, and cried out, My Lord and my God. He spoke fondly, as one who seized Christ with all his might; My Lord and my God. Sound and sincere believers, though slow and weak, were kindly accepted from the Lord Jesus. It is the duty of those who read and hear the gospel, to believe, to embrace the doctrine of Christ, and that record regarding him, 1 John 5: 11 “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.” .
