As we prepare for the new academic year and enjoy our fraternal gathering, the Claret House Community took a refreshing hike into nature, an opportunity to reconnect with one another, admire the beauty of God’s creation, and praise Him together.

May the good Lord pour out His Holy Spirit upon each one of us, renew our hearts, and strengthen us to walk together faithfully in His love and service throughout the year ahead.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Fr. Jose Alexander Gaitan Montes, CMF, who died yesterday.

Please join us in praying for the eternal rest of Fr. Gaitán, CMF, for his family and for all those he served and the lives he touched.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Fr. Jose Alexander Gaitan Montes, CMF, who died yesterday.

Fr. Gaitán gave himself fully to serving migrants in Newark, New Jersey, walking alongside those detained at the Delaney Hall detention center. He poured out his heart for all those who felt overlooked and forgotten, following his vocation, hearing confessions, celebrating Mass, offering Communion, and bringing donations of food, clothing, Bibles, and rosaries to those who needed them most.

Please join us in praying for the eternal rest of Fr. Gaitán, CMF, for his family and for all those he served and the lives he touched.

The community joyfully celebrated Fr. Bibin’s 42nd birthday. We are grateful for his presence among us and for the joyful witness he gives as a Claretian.
May the good Lord bless him abundantly, grant him many more years of life, and fill him with grace, strength, and joy in his ministry.

From August 17–22, we are gathered in Racine, Wisconsin, for our annual retreat as we begin the new academic year.

Under the theme “Servants and Listeners of the Word,” the retreat is being led by Fr. Manuel Ogalla, CMF, Prefect of Apostolate of the Fatima Province.

May these days of prayer, reflection, and listening to the Word renew us, deepen our relationship with the Lord, and strengthen our commitment to our vocation and mission as we begin a new academic year.

With joyful hearts, we give thanks to God for the diaconate ordination of Ray John, and Tien during the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

May the Lord strengthen them in their new ministry and grant them the grace to serve His Church with faith, humility, and love.
