Space, moon landing deniers, and flat earthers can NOT be reasoned with.........
Without any proof or logical evidence, they claim the Earth is flat or space is fake or the moon landings never happened.......
With no proof or logical evidence
They will look at historical photographs and video and cry fake.......
With no proof or logical evidence
They will look at historical video footage of rocket launches and Moonwalks and cry cgi or Stanley Kubrick!......
They WILL ask for evidence, and when you show them the historical scientific evidence,
they REJECT that
evidence with no logical or rational basis to do so.........
Without understanding the science or the technology or the engineering surounding the subject, they presuppose that it's "not possible" based on nothing but they're uneducated opinions. ......
After doing hours of research using YouTube videos of other people's misunderstanding of Science and reality,
they will accuse 100% of all scientists of being "in on it" and 99.999999% of the rest of the world of being "indoctrinated"......
When you explain the facts and deductive reasoning that contradicts their belief, they deflect and distract with word salad and incredulity and denial and presupposition and ironic accusations.......
Without even a basic understanding of the subject matter, they will arrogantly Proclaim without proof or logical evidence that what they believe to be true is absolutely true.
And what they don't understand can't be true because they don't understand it.......
These people can not be reasoned with.

Let's dissect the top three beliefs of flat earthers and why they are inaccurate:
1. **The Horizon Appears Flat**: Flat earthers often argue that since the horizon appears flat to the naked eye, the Earth must be flat. However, this observation fails to consider the sheer size of the Earth. Over short distances, the curvature of the Earth is indeed difficult to perceive. However, over longer distances, such as those seen in airline flights or when observing ships disappearing over the horizon, the curvature becomes evident. Moreover, images from space missions clearly show the Earth as a sphere.
2. **Lack of Visible Curvature in Photographs**: Flat earthers often point to photographs claiming that there is no visible curvature of the Earth in them. However, this argument disregards the limitations of perspective and the vast scale of the Earth. The curvature of the Earth is not always discernible in photographs taken from low altitudes due to the limited field of view. However, photographs taken from higher altitudes, such as those from weather balloons, high-altitude aircraft, or space missions, clearly show the curvature of the Earth.
3. **Water Always Finds its Level**: Flat earthers often argue that bodies of water, such as oceans, always appear flat, and this supposedly proves that the Earth is flat. However, this belief ignores the principles of gravity and the shape of the Earth. Gravity causes water to conform to the shape of the Earth, creating a curved surface. Furthermore, the Earth's gravitational force pulls water towards its center, resulting in the spherical shape of large bodies of water.
Flat earthers often lack a fundamental understanding of physics, astronomy, and geology. They tend to rely on misconceptions, selective observations, and flawed logic to support their beliefs. Their arguments often ignore evidence from centuries of scientific research, including observations made by astronomers, physicists, and explorers. Additionally, their dismissal of established scientific principles and reliance on pseudoscience hinder their ability to engage in meaningful discussions about the shape of the Earth. To have a fruitful discussion on this topic, it is crucial to understand and acknowledge the vast body of evidence supporting the spherical shape of the Earth.
Our model of the world, celestial mechanics and cosmological understanding has been verified by thousands of observations over 100’s of years by thousands of researchers. Work is published, peer reviewed and verified. Anyone with an appropriate level of physics and maths can verify the model independently with their own observations. For example, our ability to predict eclipses to the second and to the metre using celestial mechanics and globe coordinates. No flat Earth model can do that. Also tides on a flat earth?? Moon phases on a flat earth?? Moon features ‘upside down’ in the southern hemisphere, Coriolis effect, military projectile calculations taking into account the earths spin, GPS, Focault’s pendulum, gravity, non changing angular size of the sun, a setting sun, where the flat earth model to predict solstices and leap years?. This list goes on. We have a single model, self consistent, that explains all these phenomena and more. Flat earth? No explanation. It always amuses me that a flat earther can use one observation with so many flaws and ignore the massive body of evidence gathered over 100’s of years by thousands of researchers and all independently verifiable. But one telescope observation undertaken without rigour and detailed measurements and the whole of science is debunked. Go figure!!
