Hannah's story is one of waiting, weeping, and unwavering faith… but His glory is in the answer.

Hannah, a woman marked by deep pain and silent prayers, teaches us what it means to trust God in the middle of disappointment. Though she faced barrenness and heartbreak, she didn’t turn away. She pressed in. She prayed boldly, surrendered fully, and believed beyond what she could see.

And God answered.

Hannah reminds us that delay is not denial, and what we release to God in faith, He can return with purpose. Her promise became a prophet. Her pain produced purpose.

We ate, we laughed, we cried, we built connections, and in that space, something truly special happened.

Our Girl Talk event was a beautiful gathering of women coming together in authenticity, vulnerability, and faith. We created room for real conversations about life, love, healing, and purpose, where every voice mattered and every story was honored.

From heartfelt discussions on dating, marriage, motherhood, and sisterhood to moments of reflection and encouragement, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, wisdom, and genuine connection. Women left feeling seen, supported, and strengthened, not just individually, but collectively.

It wasn’t just an event, it was a reminder that when women come together in truth and grace, we don’t just share stories… we help each other heal, grow, and walk boldly in God’s glory.

Today, we celebrate the strength, grace, wisdom, and faith of women everywhere. At Mount Pleasant Chicago and the EmpowHer Women’s Ministry, we honor the women who lead, serve, nurture, and uplift our families, our church, and our community every single day.

From the women of the Bible who walked boldly in their calling to the women in our congregation who continue to walk in faith today, your story matters, and your impact is powerful.

May we continue to encourage one another, grow together in Christ, and walk confidently in the purpose God has placed within us.
