SPR parishioners are invited to a viewing of The Voice of Hind Rajab this Sunday, April 26, at 1:00pm at First Presbyterian Church (64th & Kimbark).

The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025/2026) is an acclaimed, Oscar-nominated docudrama directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, documenting the 2024 death of 6-year-old Hind Rajab in Gaza. It follows the Red Crescent response during the killing of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl, by the Israel Defense Forces during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. The film had its world premiere in the main competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on 3 September 2025, where it won the Grand Jury Prize and six other parallel prizes. The film, backed by producers like Brad Pitt and Joaquin Phoenix, features the original audio of her calls for help, focusing on the Red Crescent's efforts to reach her.
