A gift of renewal; every day.

That’s at the core of our Christian faith.

We submit and He renews.
We can’t earn it; grow it; or perform our way into it.

We have hope because He makes all things new, despite our own efforts.

God gives the world a fresh start – again and again – by offering forgiveness of sins.

The old has gone; the new is here.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.

To be steadfast in your faith is to be resolved. Unwavering. Unmoved.

If your belief in God is being shaken, go back to the resurrection of Jesus. Do not forget what He’s done, letting your familiarity lead to apathy.

We honor all the mothers, mother-figures and the mothers without titles. Sacrificial lives, laid down for others.

We’re reminded today that apart from God, we can do nothing. He provides, He sustains, He is our strength.
In the waiting, in the rejoicing, in the grieving… He is with us.

I’ll do the abiding. He’ll do the providing.

It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday and we’re celebrating our moms and mother-figures with a special ‘Bloom Bar’.

Come pick some flowers, read special notes, and be encouraged.

This will be a day of encouragement and comfort for all women – some are already cultivating their garden, and others will do it one day.

We bloom when we abide 🌼
