Here’s a caption in your voice:
Free by declaration. But are we living free? 🔥
On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Texas finally heard the news — they had been declared free for over two years, yet were still living bound.
Family, there’s a spiritual picture here we can’t miss.
Many of us have heard that Jesus saves. That He forgives. That He sets the captive free. But some of us are still living with a prison mindset — free by the blood, yet still bound by fear, still carrying shame, still obeying old patterns.
Jesus didn’t come only to forgive us. He came to set us free. 🕊️
“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36
But freedom must be received, guarded, and walked out. Some chains fall instantly. Some mindsets must be renewed daily. Some doors must be closed. Some lies must be replaced with truth.
This Juneteenth, let it remind us: a declaration of freedom must become a lived reality.
You are no longer a slave. You belong to Christ. Now walk free. ✨
