Grace Memorial Baptist Church

Grace Memorial Baptist Church is a 57 Year old historic church in the North Lawndale community. It was organized on the third Sunday of November 1963 by the late Pastor, Rev. Johnson, who pastored until May 2010. His youngest daughter, Co-Pastor Terri Johnson- Hunter, who is a licensed and ordained minister, became pastor of Grace Memorial after the death of her father , from 2010-2011. G. Hunter

(New Jerusalem MBC), became Pastor of this historic church from 2012 to present. Grace Memorial has the following ministries: Usher Board, Nurses Board, Deacon Board, Mothers Board, Concert Choir, Jr. Choir, Youth Ministry, Women's Ministry and the Willing Workers. Teaching ministries of Grace Memorial are: Bible Class, Women's Bible Class, Sunday School, Annual Church School, New Members Training. Outreach ministries are: Food pantry, Summer education program, housing and employment referral service, Annual Roots Festival and clothes closet.Order of Service: New Member Training Class every Sunday @ 9a.m..
