Blessings CMBC Members & Friends,
It is with saddened hearts, yet with faith in God’s promises, that we announce the passing of one of our church’s faithful members, Sister Lue Ester Meyers.
Sister Meyers was a beloved part of the Christian Missionary Baptist Church family, and we thank God for her life, her faithfulness, and the love and service she shared throughout the years.
We extend our heartfelt prayers, love, and deepest condolences to her devoted husband, Trustee Emeritus Raymond Meyers; her daughter, K. Monique Perkins; her granddaughters; her sisters; and the entire Meyers and Sykes family during this time of bereavement. We pray that God will strengthen, comfort, and keep them in the days ahead.
With the permission of the family, we have been allowed to share this information and to stream Sister Meyers’ Homegoing Celebration LIVE tomorrow here on Facebook and will also be available via Zoom, Monday, August 17th, 2026, for those who are unable to attend in person.
PLEASE NOTE: Out of respect for the wishes and request of the family, the visitation will NOT be streamed. Only the Homegoing Celebration will be available online.
