Resurrection Sunday at Firehouse Church Chicago is going to be powerful and we would love for you to join us. We will have our 10:30 morning Bible study service, followed by prayer at 12:30, worship at 1:00, and preaching at 2:15. After the second service, we are having a Resurrection Sunday buffet, so feel free to stay and fellowship with us. We are going to have some amazing food including Latino dishes, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican food, barbecue, and more, all buffet style. It is going to be a great time of community and connection. We will also be taking communion together as we reflect on what Jesus has done. We have already been fasting and preparing, expecting God to move in a powerful way like He always does.

Also, we have several other opportunities to connect. This Saturday evening is our men’s Pathfinders meeting. You do not have to be a member to come. We do a Bible study, eat together, talk, and build accountability. The ladies will also be meeting Saturday morning.

For the upcoming Firestarters conference, we will have fellowship opportunities including a men’s ai***ft outing. Many spots have already been covered, so if you are interested, reach out to Brother Burton for details. We will have services Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday.

The church has been growing, and because of that, we have a lot planned for the spring and fall once it starts warming up here in Chicago. The first couple of months of the year are usually focused on consecration and planning, but as spring begins to roll in, we get very active with feeding the homeless, outreach, evangelism, fellowship, and connecting with one another.

We really value fellowship. We like to go bowling, watch movies together, have barbecues, and when the weather is warm, we do a lot of potlucks and barbecues after service, especially around the holidays. We go to the beach, and we spend a lot of time together because we can be as much family as you want to be.

The men like to go play basketball, go to the shooting range, and play ai***ft. The women also have different fellowships and gatherings that they do as well. On the first Saturday of every month, we have a women’s group in the morning, and later that evening, around six o’clock, we have a men’s Bible study. We also have a game night coming up in February.

With all of that being said, starting in March, we will going to be adding another Sunday service. This will be a shorter, more condensed service. We’ll still have worship, but we will get straight into the Word. It will be more of a teaching-style service, similar to how we do Bible study on Thursday nights, where we go line by line through the Scripture and really do a deep dive into the Word.
We will still have our regular service at one o’clock. Prayer starts at twelve with an hour of prayer, worship begins at one with about an hour of worship, and the preaching usually starts around 2:15.

So feel free to pull up if you believe that God has more for you. This is a church that believes in more. We are hungry for more. We are expecting more. We are believing for revival, even something like an Azusa Street–type breakout, starting right here at Firehouse Church. We see what God is doing. We see how the people are growing, and we are ready to see revival hit the city of Chicago.
