Philadelphia Church is a non-denominational church in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago at Clark St & Rascher Ave. It was located in the city of Philadelphia (meaning Brotherly Love in Greek) in what is now the country of Turkey. Philadelphia was an unusual city in that people from many nations of the world passed through and lived there. The church was known for its faithfulness and God g

ave it an open door to minister to the diversity of people in the city. Our Philadelphia Church in Chicago began as a small mission from the Philadelphia Church in Sweden, in 1926, to reach the many Swedes coming into the area at that time. Now we are seeing how the love of God can bring together people of every race and background, people of all nations, and unite them in love to serve and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
