After the electrical fire in July 2025, we could have easily become discouraged. Instead, we prayed. We waited. We trusted God. And today, we are witnessing His faithfulness once again.

The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers has officially started work at Beautiful Zion! 🧱💙

What looked like a setback has become an opportunity for restoration. What seemed uncertain has become a testimony. The fire may have knocked us down, but it did not knock us out.

We are especially grateful for the Union’s incredible apprenticeship program, which is helping preserve our historic 102-year-old building while investing in the next generation of skilled craftspeople. That’s a blessing not only for Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church, but for our entire community.

As we continue restoring our building envelope, we are reminded that this project is about so much more than bricks and mortar. It’s about preserving a sacred space that has served Englewood for generations and ensuring it remains a beacon of hope for generations to come.

To everyone who has prayed, donated, encouraged, and believed in this vision—thank you. Your seeds are producing a harvest.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 2026 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Because of their courage, service, and selflessness, we enjoy the freedoms we hold dear today. We will never forget their legacy.

Pastor Ricky D. Dixon reminded us on Pentecost Sunday through Acts 2:1-11 and the message “A Mighty Move of God” that God still moves in powerful ways—bringing hope, unity, healing, and strength to His people.

As we remember our fallen heroes, let us also pray for peace, comfort for military families, and continued unity throughout our nation. May we always walk in gratitude, faith, and love.
