Dear Church Family and Friends,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Faye (Meyering) Murdaugh, who went home to be with the Lord.

Faye was a woman of character who lived out her faith, a true disciple of Jesus who modeled a life of love for God and love for her neighbor. Her life made a lasting impact on countless lives, from her family, friends, and students to our church family. We feel deeply saddened because she will be greatly missed, yet the peace of God is at the same time present, knowing that she was ready to meet the Lord. We are comforted that her prayer was answered to have a peaceful departure.

We ask that you join us in keeping her family in prayer as they walk through this difficult season. We will also appreciate your presence at the celebrations of her life.

Our grief is accompanied by hope, and we hold on to the promise of the resurrection and the assurance that those who are in Christ are together with Him in the flesh and in spirit forever. May we come together in prayer, support, and loving one another well in the days ahead.

What a wonderful Sunday to start off the month of May!

Our intern Alex, who is studying Worship Ministry, led us in worship today for his last Sunday here before he graduates next week to pursue an official worship leader position.

Then we got to hear a message from Pastor Daniel about becoming mature, with a great example about green mangoes versus ripe mangoes.

We also say goodbye to our college students from Olivet Nazarene University for the summer, and we will see them back here at the end of August.

What a wonderful weekend we had here at the church!

To start us off, on Friday we had a community play directed by one of our congregational members. Grease, with a twist! Danny and Sandy both met at youth camp over the summer!

Then on Saturday we had a fun Rummage Sale here in our gym. With food, homemade blankets, homemade jewelry, and many other things!

And then to finish off our weekend we had a great service. We got to share sometime worshiping the lord with the band. And then Pastor Carolina shared in her sermon what it means to become a Disciple
