Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly! We are at the top of the hill, as you approach on State HY 283 from the South, overlooking the beautiful town of Cheyenne in the exciting Western part of the State of Oklahoma. Cheyenne is the county seat of Roger Mills County, home of the BEARS and the Black Kettle National Grassland

s, site of a famous "battle" between a band of the Cheyenne Nation people and the 7th Cavalry under the command of George Custer. This church has been serving Christ and Community since 1893. We have many ministry opportunities during the week, from Sunday school (10AM) to Worship (11AM) and other study groups, as well as Mustard Seed (Elementary), Youth, and Methodist Women. We sponsor Girl Scout, Boy Scout and Cub Scout activities, and an Archery Team.

Holy Tuesday:
Matthew 22:15-21, NIV: "Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?” But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. Then Jesus said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

God, help us to remember that we were created in Your image and to be in relationship with You. Help us also to seek our relationship with you above all else. Amen.

Holy Monday:
Mark 11:15-19 "On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. When evening came, Jesus and his disciples[e] went out of the city." (NIV)

Lord, forgive us when we have distracted others from coming to you. Forgive us also for when we have been too distracted to come to you. Help us this week and always to put you first. Amen.
