St. John Paul II

“Teaching does not simply mean transmitting what we know, but also revealing who we are by living what we believe.”

Let us pray for our teachers as they begin this new school year, that through their teaching and example, they may transmit not only knowledge, but also the values, faith, and love that help our children and young people grow as individuals. May God bless their vocation and grant them wisdom and strength to accompany our students.

We are following the news from Colombia where devastating earthquakes struck on August 10, 2026. The 7.4 magnitude earthquake that shook the western region of the country has left a truly devastating situation.
In union with the prayers of Pope Leo XIV and Catholics around the world, Cardinal McElroy has already contributed funds through Catholic Relief Services to support emergency humanitarian assistance and recovery efforts.
