Friends in Christ,

The Apostle Paul reminded the Corinthians, “As often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” This Sunday we will eat the bread and drink the cup together as we celebrate communion. It is a remembrance and celebration of our salvation in Christ!

I hope you will join us for outdoor worship, 9:30am Sunday in our Picnic Pavilion. We’ve had some stormy days, but Sunday’s forecast looks great for our final summer outdoor service. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy unique worship, surrounded by God’s creation!

May God bless you this Labor Day weekend. See you in church!

We are excited to announce that Deer Lakes Nursery School is now offering a 2 yr old Mommy and Me class.

Beginning September 15th, Deer Lakes Nursery School will offer a 75-minute Mommy and Me class for 2-year-olds on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-1:45pm. There will be 11-week sessions throughout the school year: Fall, Winter and Spring. 11-week sessions are $250.00 and Drop ins are $30.00 (discounted for EUPC Members at a rate of $23 per drop in)

Friends in Christ,

School has started for most districts and fall is around the corner! This Sunday, August 30th, we'll celebrate the Blessing of the Backpacks by seeking God's provision and protection for our children, youth and school community. Bring your children, grandchildren and neighbors; Teachers, school staff and coaches are invited too. Don't forget your backpack or tote, and please place it at the cross before the service. All participants will receive a special token to remember this meaningful blessing and God's love for them.

I look forward to seeing you all again after my summer break! My message is called "Good, Better, Best!"

We'll gather outside in our pavilion, weather-permitting, at 9:30am so bring a blanket or lawn chair, if you'd like, and your well-behaved pet, too!

Know that you are always welcome at church! Hope to see you soon!
