Boston College Knights of Columbus

Boston College Knights of Columbus We are BC students looking to make a difference in our world. A brotherhood of Catholic men, we are dedicated to Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism

How would you like to make a difference by joining a global organization dedicated to Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism? The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 to unite men of the Catholic faith. Since then, it has grown to a worldwide organization, uniting Catholic men in faith and service. In 2015, Knights around the world completed 73.4 million hours of service. The Boston College

Knights of Columbus was first formed in 1962. Unfortunately, the council has been inactive in recent years. We are working to reactivate this council at Boston College, and are looking for Catholic men to join us as we serve the church, the community, and our school. If the Knights of Columbus sounds like an organization you would like to join, like our page and fill out our sign up form today!

We are proud to be growing as a council. Our hard work in recruiting new members has certainly paid off with a generous gift of four (4) Celtics tickets from the MA State Council. We are very grateful. Go Eagles. VJ! @ Boston College

Brandon is a valuable member of our Council. He truly loves his life as a man of faith in action. Thank you Knights of Columbus for showcasing one of our own.

"The encouragement of brother Knights has been greatly significant to holding fast to my faith. So if you have a council near you who is striving for this standard, join them! They will encourage you, inspire you, and hold you accountable."

Brandon joined the Boston College Knights of Columbus last semester as an international exchange student from New Zealand.

Another one of our Knights in action, Deputy Grand Knight Czar Sepe, has taken concrete measures in student government to address the clerical abuse crisis in the Church at BC. If you want to be a part of a group of men in action, feel free to reach out to us!

UGBC has passed a resolution calling upon Univ. Pres. Leahy to issue an official statement condemning the clerical sexual abuse in Pennsylvania.

“We aren’t future leaders. We are leaders for now.” Tonight’s talk presented the challenges we face as a Church and how we, as the people who are the Catholic Church, can move forward in this time of crisis. The BC Knights of Columbus are committed to being an instrument of change on campus, thanks to students just like our own GK Sean Barry. If you want to learn about how you can join our efforts, message us!

Today is the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus! Let us remember to “set the world aflame”, at school and in your community. Here’s an article from our friends at the Torch.

Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus ("Jesuits"), is one of the Christian tradition’s profoundest mystics and perhaps its greatest mystagogue. However, his apostolic successes, as well as those of the Society of Jesus from his time to the present, have overshadowed the importanc...
