With heavy hearts, we announce the homegoing of our dear friend and longtime faculty member, Mr. Tom Kelso.

Mr. Kelso faithfully served at Fairhaven Baptist College for more than 40 years as a math and science teacher. He was also a faithful member of Fairhaven Baptist Church and served on our staff.

We are thankful for Mr. Kelso’s many years of service and for the influence he had on so many students through the years. He will be greatly missed.

While our hearts are saddened, we rejoice knowing that Mr. Kelso is now with the Lord, and we look forward to the day when we will see him again.

The ensemble has enjoyed a few weeks ministering in churches on the West Coast. Last week they were blessed to attend Camp Red Cliffe in Utah. The summer is flying by!

The ensemble’s summer tour has taken them from Indianapolis—where they visited many school chapels—through Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, and Arizona, where they had the chance to hike the Grand Canyon. They are now in California and will be spending the next few weeks ministering in churches along the West Coast. Please continue to pray for their safety and for fruitful results as they represent the college in these churches!

What a great Preaching Conference! The Lord truly blessed us—the preaching, music, and fellowship were a wonderful reminder that true joy comes from Him alone.

Our college graduation is such an exciting end to the school year. We are praising the Lord for these students and look forward to all He has in store for them as they seek to serve Him.
