West County has subscribed to host Adventist World Radio’s “Unlocking Bible Prophecies” Series. The series will run for 15 nights beginning October 3. If all goes well, they will automatically appear each evening in FaceBook for you to view.

West County SDA Church will resume in-person services this Sabbath, August 22 at 10am. Doors open at 9:50. At this time services are limited to the 2nd. and 4th. Sabbaths of the month, those Sabbaths when Pastor Robinson is available. Masks are required. Every other pew is blocked off in order to maintain social distancing. Additional details were sent by email.

Sabbath service
Pastor Robinson is speaking this week. His sermon title is Jonah Part 3, Where Will You be Found. The scripture is 2 Kings 6:15-17

“The prophet’s attendant got up early in the morning. When he went outside there was an army surrounding the city, along with horses and chariots. He said to Elisha, “Oh no, my master! What will we do?” 6:16 He replied, “Don’t be afraid, for our side outnumbers them.” 6:17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes so he can see.” The Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw that the hill was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

We have a new monument sign.
When we decided to allow a local Presbyterian congregation to use our church for their services, we agreed to they would be able to have a sign. We learned that Chesterfield would only permit one permanent sign. Our existing sign has not had the desired visibility and the night time lighting had not worked for several years, so we agreed to share the cost of a joint sign.

West County will begin to stream services on the 2nd and 4th Sabbath of each month as it welcomes its new pastor, Darren Robinson. The first streamed service will be on YouTube June 13.
