Quick Update

Over the past couple of days, we’ve been waiting on a procedure and its results to understand the medical path forward.

Yesterday, Heather underwent a colonoscopy, which revealed cancer in approximately 6 inches of her colon. This is the origin of the cancer that has spread to her liver.

In the natural, news like this is devastating. But we don’t live just by the naturaln!

Heather and I are incredibly grateful for each of you who has prayed for us, and we humbly ask that you continue to stand with her. We are not giving up, drawing back, wavering in our faith, or lowering our expectations. We both know that God is the healer and will use this to reach many people and draw them back to Him.

So, we thank you in advance for your continued prayer and support!

Update:
Did I mention that !!

Yesterday, the kids surprised Heather by coming up and having a “Grinch Christmas.” I don’t know if it’s a thing or not, but it’s something Heather has done for a few years now. It was a very welcome visit!

We did get the biopsy results back from the liver. It showed that there is cancer present and that it most likely spread from the colon.

But see, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! So if He ever healed someone of cancer in the past—He’ll heal today and tomorrow! I personally know people He’s healed of cancer, tumors, heart conditions, liver conditions, and so much more. Why? Because He is Jehovah Rapha!

And so, I thank you all in advance for continuing to believe with us—because IT IS WRITTEN—whenever two or more agree on earth as touching anything, it shall be done by my Father in Heaven!

Our confidence is resolute, our faith is strong! We know that our God is WELL ABLE to deliver Heather from all of this—and He is!

Update:

Hi FB family and friends,

I’m writing on behalf of Heather to give you an update and to ask for continued prayers to bombard Heaven for her.

The last few days have been quiet, with only a few procedures. Today at 1:30 pm, she’ll undergo a thrombectomy, a procedure to remove two blood clots from her left arm.

When Heather first had the stroke in the ER, we were inundated with information. The doctors discussed possible sources of the clots. A CT scan of her abdomen revealed lesions on her liver, kidney, heart, and colon, initially leading them to suspect cancer.

Since then, however, they’ve ruled out the kidneys, stating they’re functioning normally and that these are blood clots that will eventually be absorbed back into her bloodstream. They also found two spots on one of her heart valves, initially thought to be cancer. After further tests, the doctors now believe these, too, are clots. The colon shows some thickening, which they believe could have initiated this, with the liver lesions potentially originating here.

Yesterday, Heather had a liver biopsy, and we expect results in a few days.

I want to be clear: I’m not denying reality, but I do know the God I have served faithfully all my life. Regardless of what these reports say, I believe MY GOD IS ABLE to deliver Heather, and HE will receive ALL THE GLORY for this!

We’ve seen so many amazing improvements and miracles already—YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING!

Often, when people hear a good report, they stop praying, thinking their job is done. But I ask that this not be you! I am believing for Heather’s full recovery and covet your agreement in prayer with me.

Hi FB friends and Family,

Thank you so much for all the love, prayers, and support. Your messages and prayers have truly lifted our spirits during this time.

I’m grateful to share an update: Heather has been moved to a private room outside the ICU. She’s been able to take a few steps, sit up, and even eat and drink—each of these moments feels like a blessing.

We’re not through this yet and still have a ways to go, so please keep those prayers coming. Every prayer means the world to us as we look forward to her full recovery.

Hi FB friends and Family!

I’m writing this for my wife and best friend for 29 years, Heather. As some of you may or may not know - she had a stroke in the ER on Saturday night.

She has so many more friends on here than I do and so I’m asking on her behalf for all that love her and see this to say a quick prayer for her that God would continue to heal her.

If you could help by sharing this - I just want as many people lifting her name befor God as we can.. thanks so much in advance!!
