In the summer of 2020, as a response to social justice concerns, the clerk and members of the Peace and Social Action Committee of Crosswicks Quaker Meeting reached out to other faith organizations in Bordentown, Crosswicks, and Chesterfield communities. The result was the formation of the Interfaith Community Builders (ICB) which consists of representatives from Christian denominations, both Blac
k and White, Jewish, Sikh, and Moslem faith groups. The following is our Mission Statement:
Interfaith Community Builders brings human beings together to respond to social challenges facing our communities. We listen to ALL voices in our communities, identify problems, and approach them from multiple perspectives. We seek to connect and empower individuals and groups to embark on creative initiatives that work toward real and heartfelt solutions for social justice.
