Yesterday we paused our Genesis series, to look at Psalm 3 and celebrate a few baptisms. Psalm 3 was written by King David while running for his life from his own rebellious son, Absalom, is a raw, heartfelt psalm that reveals a father’s pain, his cry to God, and his ultimate trust in the Lord.

Genesis 9:1-17 details God’s post-flood covenant with Noah. As God commands Noah and his family to multiply and fill the earth, He also establishes the sanctity of human life, and makes His covenant promise to never again destroy the earth by flood. As a sign of this covenant, God sets the rainbow in the sky.

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday) kicks off our summer bible study. Every Wednesday over the summer from 7-8:30pm we will be working our way through the book of Galatians. We will have 45 min of combined reading/teaching followed by 45 min of breakout discussions and prayer groups for men and women. Bring your bible, notebook, & pen, and get ready to dig into God's word together!

In Genesis 8 we see the character of a God who remembers His people. Even when the world feels chaotic or silent, God is actively working to bring His promises to pass. We will explore how God faithfully sustains us through the transition, brings us safely to dry ground, and establishes a new covenant of grace.
