Our Story
Love of God Ministries Church was birthed out of a prison ministry that serves 12 State Correctional Institution. Pastor worked hard to assist those incarcerated with renewing their minds. Many did but when they arrived home they found their communities not as welcoming including our churches, we wanted to be a place where they could find love a support to aid in the their transition. So, we decided that we needed to open a church that would not judge the rejected and lost but show the love of God to them and assist in their spiritual growth.
This ministry works to assist, the hungry through Free Bag Lunch and prayer Thursdays which runs from May- July. To bless the children of incarcerated parents with the Blessing of Christmas. To bless the homeless with blessing bags. Pray for us as we continue to work sharing the Gospel and God's love with the lost.
We are a house church that supports other ministries around the world such as Internation Justice Ministries to end human trafficking and sexual explotation of children and women. We do the 30 hour famine each year to end hunger both in the states and around the world.
July is our annual Vacation Bible School for neighborhood children. This past year we adopted two neighborhood streets to physically clean and pray for the families residing on those streets.
