It is intended to familiarize and share info about the church with persons local to Kent Island, Maryland and its surrounding areas. The church building at the address listed serves persons local to the Kent Island, Easton, Denton and other cities in that area of Maryland, and is located in a convenient, yet quiet, area in Chester, Maryland. The building is clean and simple and the services are re
verently conducted and tranquil. One congregation meets at the building, which is called the Kent Island Branch. Services are held on Sundays and involve singing hymns, listening to talks presented by church members and church leadership, and study groups. Families are welcome and share the first hour, Sunday School is held the second hour, and Priesthood and Relief Society meetings are held the third hour. Children's groups, namely Primary and Nursery, are held during the second and third hours as well. Persons from any of the areas in the vicinity of the cities listed above are encouraged to attend the Kent Island Branch meeting, which is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This building also holds other meetings during the week, with weekly Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Young Women's meeting, and a variety of other activities.
