We will be holding a Christmas NIGHT (DECEMBER 25, 2025) Candlelight Communion service at 6:00 PM, featuring carols, special music, and the telling of the Christmas story. We hope to see you there. Merry Christmas! Truly, Jesus is the Reason for this blessed season!

FYI: On Sunday, July 27, 2025, there will be no Sunday school or Worship service at Chester Baptist Church. We have been invited by Springfield Community Chapel to join in their annual outdoor service, baptism, and picnic at Cole's Landing on Silver Lake in Lee. The service will begin at 10:30 AM. People attending are asked to bring their own chairs and a dish, salad, or sweet to share at the picnic. SCC will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs. We hope to see you there!

Our regular services will resume on Sunday, August 3: Sunday school, 1:00 PM, Worship, 2:00 PM.

As for what God is doing, He is protecting you with each passing moment, steering you away from one misfortune after another and from one disaster after another. This is why I say that everything man has—peace and joy, blessings and personal safety—is in fact all under God’s control; He guides and decides the fate of every individual.”
