We had an amazing time this past Sunday during our "Build The Body" Challenge. And YES it got competitive🤣 (I just hope the bridges will hold🤣🤣)

In each team's challenge they had something in common, each other. Like the Body of Christ, we too have each other when faced with life's difficult moments. Stop trying to do LIFE alone. Lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ.

What a powerful and spirit-filled Pentecost Sunday at Pine Grove Baptist Church! 🔥💜

Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Jason Miles , delivered a soul-stirring message from Acts 1:8 titled “Pentecostal Power for the Promise.” We were reminded that the Holy Spirit doesn’t just make you shout and dance—but He empowers you to live right, love deeply, and even love your enemies. What a call to tap into the true power of the Holy Spirit and walk boldly in purpose!

Today, we also honored “Purple Sunday” in recognition of Fibromyalgia and Lupus Awareness Month. Our sanctuary was beautifully filled with purple as we stood in unity with our . We were blessed by our guest speaker, Sis. Roxann Yarborough James, who courageously shared while living with . Sis. MeMe Jackson touched our hearts with a vivid and heartfelt description of the symptoms and daily realities of those living with Fibromyalgia and Lupus.

This awareness is just a small part of what we can do in a big world, but it matters.

💜 Call to Action: As Sis. MeMe McCree Jackson stated, take a moment to educate yourself about Fibromyalgia and Lupus. Show compassion, extend grace, and support those who are silently fighting battles every day. Let’s be intentional about loving, understanding, and lifting others up.

Lord, we lift up every person battling Fibromyalgia and Lupus. Strengthen their bodies, comfort their minds, and renew their spirits. Surround them with love, support, and understanding. Let Your healing power flow, and grant them peace for each day’s journey. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
