Annual Congregational Meeting January 25, SNOW DATE: February 1

Please join us for our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, January 25, after the 9:30am Worship service in the Sanctuary. The snow date will be on Sunday, February 1. This is an opportunity to reflect on the past year, and plan for the upcoming year.

We will:
hear updates from ministry leaders,
present the 2025 financials
offer the 2026 budget for approval
elect new members to council.

With our profound thanks, we received an extremely generous donation from the Chad Byers family (whose children are alumni of St. Matthew's Preschool & Kindergarten) for the brand-new lighting system of the Church Sanctuary. The lights were installed this week.

We hope our St. Matthew's family and our surrounding Chester Springs community will appreciate this warm, inviting illumination of our church for years to come.

RISE AGAINST HUNGER 2025: THANK YOU!
What an amazing day we had on Sunday! Thanks to our efforts, we far exceeded both of our goals with money raised, volunteers, and meals packaged. We had 385 volunteers (128% over goal) package over 62,500 meals and raised $26,463.37 (110% of our goal!)
We especially would like to thank our sponsors, whose generosity allowed us to grow our event in wonderful ways. Please patronize these businesses for their efforts to feed the children who are most in need in our world!

Did you know that we have Sunday Evening Worship at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church twice a month? If you can't make it to our regular Sunday Worship at 9:30am, you are welcome to join us at 6:30pm on these days. In July, our Evening Worship will take place on July 6 and July 20.
This is a great alternative for those who go "Down the Shore" on weekends, those who are busy with kids' activities and sports, or those who prefer a quieter Worship environment.
We'd love to have you join us!
