It is with a heavy heart to let you know the Bob Klecko, our church dedicated Church decorator, has passed away.
Bob had spent endless days over the many years making sure that our Church was decorated for every holiday. Christmas and Easters at St. Hedwig brought visitors from everywhere to see its beauty. Bob was a master at this.
We will miss his beautiful voice in our choir but we are sure the Angel choir in heaven is the better for it.
Rest well Bob, you certainly deserve it. We will all miss you.

Our last Mass was said at St. Hedwig’s today, marking a momentous occasion as we commemorate the anniversary of the first Mass here. We celebrate the sacrifices, worship, and legacy of our family members who have passed on our proud Polish heritage to us over the years. We take that with us. We are St. Hedwig! We will ALWAYS be St. Hedwig. Despite attempts to close us years ago, we persevered through prayer, resilience, and determination, thriving for another 30 years. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to our journey.

🎂 CELEBRATING A CENTURY OF LIFE AND SERVICE! 🎂

The Upper Chichester Township Board of Commissioners are honored to wish a very happy 100th birthday to Mrs. Ann O'Grady, born July 23, 1925!

Commissioner Raikowski presented Mrs. O'Grady with a special proclamation recognizing her incredible milestone and her dedication to our township. Ann has been an active member of the Upper Chichester Citizens Club for 39 years, including serving as President from 2001 to 2003.

Mrs. O'Grady's remarkable life journey has taken her from Newark, New Jersey to our beloved community, where she worked for the PA Department of Health's Tuberculosis Clinic for 20 years. Her contributions to our township and her wealth of wisdom continue to inspire all who know her.

Please join us in honoring this extraordinary centenarian who has witnessed a century of history and helped shape our community through her dedicated service!
