History:

The Mount Sillar Baptist Church was organized in 1904 the meeting was held in a brush harbor until the church was built. Reverend Jones built the first church in 1912. The building was remodeled and in later years, a new build was erected on this spot under the leadership of Reverend E.C. The following Pastors served Mt. Sillar Baptist Church in years past: Rev. P.C. Crawford, Rev. D.T.

Perry, who started the building fund, Rev. E.C. Scott, Rev. James Allen, Rev. Nathaniel Smith, Rev. Lloyd Johnson, Rev. Curly, Rev. Smiley, Rev. Howard of Mt. Olive in Shorter, Alabama (intermittent pastors), Reverend Howard introduced us to our current Pastor, Rev., Derrick Heard who has pastured since November 2000. Past Deacons of Mt. Sillar Baptist Church are as follows: Deacon Frank Allen, Deacon James Burton, Deacon James Edwards, Deacon Cleo Hawkins, Deacon William Jake Swanson, Deacon Joseph Burton, Deacon Will Allen. Currently Deacon Robert Burton is the Chairperson and Deacon Herman Taylor works faithfully with our church. 1. Trust in our Final Mediator: Recognize that human mediators (priests/pastors) are imperfect and temporary. Rely on Yeshua, who is holy, harmless, and undefiled, for your standing before Father God.
2. Access Constant Intercession: Christ's Leverage lives forever, He is always available to intercede 24/7. Apply this by bringing prayers, worries, and confession directly to Him anytime, knowing He is always ready to represent you.
3. Spiritual Growth:
Mature in faith by focusing on the Messiah's character rather than relying on strict, ritualistic law-keeping.

May Christ hold a higher place in your life than Melchizedek did for Abraham! Amen!🙏🏾

Father God,
I praise You for the new and better covenant established through Christ, my great High Priest. Thank You that He is seated at Your right hand, ministering in the true heavenly sanctuary on my behalf. I bring my life to You, not based on my own works, but trusting in the superior promises and grace offered through Him. Please write Your Word upon the table of my heart and mind that I may not sin against You. Please create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me. Help me to live as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You. I trust in Your renewed mercies to forgive my trespasses and remember my sins no more.

When we see the term infertility, the inability to achieve is the key phrase here.

2.Renounce the Lie Out Loud: Confess areas of unbelief or disobedience, and release unforgiveness.

3. Replace with Scripture (Truth):
Replace lies with the meditation of the Word of God daily.

Matthew 8:44b
When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Father God,
I come before You in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thanking You for life, love, peace, and renewed mercies. I confess that I have allowed fear, unbelief, and disobedience to build a stronghold in my mind, preventing me from fully walking in Your will. I repent for attempting to navigate life in my own strength, which has resulted in fruitless, dry, and sterile seasons. In the name of our Messiah, please break every generational curse and ancestral covenant that has caused spiritual infertility in my life and family. Please pull down every thought that sets itself up against the knowledge of You, Father. Most High, create a clean heart in me, and let Your Spirit revive the dry places. Proverbs 18:21 states, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits."

1. Use Words to Build Up: Actively look for opportunities to encourage, thank, and affirm others, rather than criticizing.

2. Control Digital Speech: Apply this verse to social media comments, text messages, and emails, as digital words can cause as much, if not more, destruction than spoken ones.

3. Filter Conversations: Refrain from participating in gossip, slander, or harsh criticism that can destroy relationships and reputations.

Father God,
Thanks You for Your renewed mercies and unconditional love.
I repent for being quick to speak and slow to listen. Grant me the grace to pause and surrender my tongue to Your control before I say something I cannot take back.
I know that my words stem from my heart. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, so that my speech reflects Your truth and righteousness.
Please make my speech a channel of Your goodness, allowing me to only speak words that build up and offer healing to those who hear.

Examine your heart today! Do you treat people differently based on their appearance, influence, accent or social status?

In this passage of scriptures, James, Yeshua's brother, strongly emphasizes that believers must not hold the faith of Christ, the "Lord of glory," while showing personal favoritism or partiality.

Respect of persons truly means the Father shows no favoritism.
His unconditional love is available to all and all will stand before the divine judgment seat of Christ as well. Amen!👏🏾

Practical Applications:

1. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, regardless of their background, status, or appearance.

2. Servitude Heart: Offer help, time, and resources to those who cannot pay you back or benefit your status.
