The main takeaway from Acts 18:11-17 is that God will fight your battles and protect you when you are doing His work.In this passage, the Apostle Paul is preaching in the city of Corinth. Even when angry mobs turn on him, God steps in using an unexpected person to keep Paul safe, proving that Paul did not need to fight back.

LET THE DUST FLY!
Text: Acts 18:5–8

Key Scriptures:

1 Corinthians 16:9 — “A wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”
Matthew 10:14 — “Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words… shake the dust off your feet.”
Introduction
Paul came to Corinth with a burden to preach Christ. But ministry did not begin the way we might expect. There was opposition, rejection, and resistance. Yet God had already prepared provision for Paul, and God had also prepared another assignment.

Sometimes the greatest evidence that God is moving is not that everyone accepts you. Sometimes it is that God gives you grace to recognize when it is time to move forward.

There comes a moment when you have to stop fighting a closed door and start walking through the door God has opened.

You cannot let yesterday's rejection keep you from tomorrow's assignment.

Thank you to our Youth Pastor Josh Brown for reminding us today that there is nothing we can ever do that the Father would stop loving us.

Luke 15: 20-24
“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.”
