First Church teens spent a week of their summer vacation serving residents in Morrow County, OH. Wheelchair ramps, porches, and steps were repaired and constructed. Fresh coats of paint were applied. Relationships and bonds were built. A job well done by our First Church teens!

Here are some photos of some of the projects our Youth Mission Team is working on in Morrow County Ohio.

After 2.5 days of work they got a much deserved afternoon off and visited the Columbus Zoo!

Join us Monday, June 22 at 7PM at First Congregational Church in Cheshire for a free talk with Dr. Adam Perrin, UConn School of Medicine Associate Professor of Family Medicine, as he explores the real causes and health impacts of social isolation and what Connecticut is doing about it.

You'll hear about the Connecticut Collaborative to End Loneliness, a statewide effort bringing real solutions like social prescribing, community screenings, and partnerships between healthcare and local organizations to tackle this growing epidemic head-on.
