🎒✏️ THANK YOU, ST. PETER’S! 📚🖍️

We are so grateful for the incredible generosity of our St. Peter’s community in support of our Back-to-School Collection for CT Kids Matter! So many school supplies came through our doors last Sunday, all helping local children start the school year with the supplies they need.

A special thank you to Christy and Jeremy Chandler for organizing this initiative and collecting everything on behalf of St. Peter’s. We appreciate you, and everyone who helped make this collection such a success! ❤️

This Pride Month, we celebrate a simple and beautiful truth:

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." — Psalm 139:14

We believe that every person is created in the image of God, loved beyond measure, and wonderfully made just as they are. God's creativity is reflected in the beautiful diversity of humanity, and there is room for everyone in God's family.

As we celebrate Pride, we give thanks for our LGBTQ+ siblings and recommit ourselves to being a community where all people are welcomed, valued, seen, and loved.

Our sermon last Sunday was from Rev. Carrie Combs who reminded us that God's love is not expressed through sameness, but through the beautiful diversity of creation and the relationships that connect us to one another. When we embrace and care for each other across our differences, we reflect the very heart of God.
