Happy Labor Day!

Today, we honor the hardworking men and women whose dedication, perseverance, and service make a difference in our families, workplaces, churches, and communities.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Saturday can easily become another day filled with errands, plans, chores, and everything we didn’t get done during the week.

But before the day gets busy, take a moment to be still.

God is still God. He is still faithful. He is still working—even in the things you cannot see yet.

May your Saturday be filled with His peace, His presence, and the reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out.

Growing, Moving Up & Stepping Into New Seasons

What a special Sunday at Calvary Life as we celebrated so many of our young people stepping into a new season!

Some of our kids graduated into new classes in Gate 54, others made the exciting move into Rhema Student Ministries, and some of our young adults are heading off to college and beginning an entirely new chapter.

What a privilege it is to watch them grow, encourage them along the way, and see God working in their lives through every stage.

And our kids made the day even more special with an amazing dance! They did such a wonderful job and were truly a blessing to our entire church family.

From our youngest kids to those heading off to college, we are so proud of each one of them and excited to see where God leads them next!

Where Does Our Authority Come From?

Sunday, Pastor John took us deeper into the Armor of God, looking beyond the familiar imagery of Ephesians 6 and into its Hebrew roots.

One of the powerful truths from the message: spiritual authority was never meant to be about what we can do on our own. Our confidence is in Jesus Christ, His finished work, and what He has made available to us through Him.

It’s the middle of the week. Take a breath.

The week may have started fast. Your to-do list may still be long. And there may be things on your mind that you haven’t quite figured out yet.

But right here, in the middle of it all, take a moment to slow down.

Breathe.

Remember that you don’t have to have everything figured out today. God is still faithful. His peace is still available. And sometimes the best thing we can do is quiet the noise for a moment and remember Who is walking with us.

Whatever the rest of this week holds, you don’t have to face it alone.

We’re halfway there. Keep going.
