Mr. George Moore of "Judeo-Christian Outreach Center" (JCOC) was UMM guest speaker this past Sunday. JCOC serves over 85,00 meals to individuals and families in need; has and emergency housing program for over 250 individuals; provides Veterans transitional housing; and employment training and life skills. JCOC is located in Va. Beach and has been operating for 30 years. More information on JCOC is available at www.jcoc.org.

It is that time again! Soup and Grill Cheese - GBUMC UMM will be hosting a luncheon in the GBUMC fellowship hall on 18 September. Several different soups will be available along with hot grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. Come join us for fellowship and a great lunch. To go orders will be ready from 9:00 with sit down service from 11:00 to 1:00. Only $5 a serving for age 12 and older. Proceeds will support the UMM Jim Early Education Fund.

GBUMC UMM celebrated the support of our GBUMC staff on 31 August with a luncheon at Vino's in Great Bridge. Seven GBUMC staff members joined five UMM members in faith filled fellowship and great food. This is just one of many events scheduled for the rest of 2016. A full calendar of UMM events will be posted soon.
