BRIFE HISTORY
The idea of establishing a church was initiated by two families (the Graves & the Browns) in mid 1980; several other people immediately joined with us and together we founded Father, Son and Holy Spirit Church of Grace. The name of the church was provided by Pas

tor Addison A. IRS 501 (c) (3) status was granted in June 1981. Church services, including bible studies, were held in various members' homes on an alternating basis. In 1983 we purchased the building that was here at 1615 Wood Avenue, Chesapeake, VA 23325, which was owned and previously operated by Old Community Baptist Church. The new building construction commenced December 1, 1999 and was completed late April of year 2000. Our first service was held the first Sunday of May 2000.
