For much of history, God's presence was tied to a place. The tabernacle. The temple. A specific location where people would go to meet with Him. But something remarkable happened at Pentecost. God stopped living in a building and started living in His people. Paul makes this clear in 1 Corinthians 3. You are the temple of God. The Holy Spirit does not simply visit you on Sunday mornings and leave when the service ends. He dwells in you. That means wherever you go, you carry His presence with you. This is one of the most encouraging truths in all of scripture. You do not have to travel to a sacred place to encounter God. You are the sacred place. When you walk into your workplace, your home, or your neighborhood, you are bringing His presence into that space. Let that sink in today. God chose you as His dwelling place. Not a building. Not a program. You. That is not a small thing. It is an extraordinary privilege, and it is meant to shape how you live every single day of the week.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
